Diana Vickers has said goodbye to the 'claw' move she became known for on The X Factor.
The 18-year-old drew criticism while on the show for constantly touching her face with her hand while she was singing.
But Diana claimed she doesn't do that any more because she feels more at ease while performing.
She said: "When you're on X Factor you get nervous and do weird things and that was just my way of dealing with it. I did it at the time, but now I feel a lot more comfortable on stage.
"I can move around as I want, have banter with my band and do whatever, so I don't do it any more. I'm a lot more relaxed now my future doesn't ride on one performance."
:: Diana Vickers' single Once is out now, while her debut album, Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree, is released on Monday May 3. She begins her UK tour on May 8 in Liverpool's O2 Academy 1.
