Taylor Swift has smashed The Staple Center’s record of most sold-out shows for a solo artist.
The 23-year-old has sold out a massive eleven shows at the LA event centre, surpassing Madonna and Justin Timberlake for seven sell-outs and Britney Spears for eight sell-out shows.
The musician and singer attended a press event at the centre yesterday to celebrate the record-breaking milestone.
The 150,000 capacity at The Staples Center means that Taylor will have played to a massive 1,650,000 in LA alone.
Wearing an Elie Saab top and shorts combo, the star completed the monochrome look with a pair of black heels and bright red lipstick.
She now ties the record with Latin pop group Mana for the most sell-out shows.
Taylor tweeted her excitement from her first night on her LA leg of her RED tour 2013.
“To everyone who came to the show tonight in LA, I adore you. To anyone coming to the next 3 shows, expect more of the unexpected,” she wrote on the social media network.
Sara Bareilles and Cher Lloyd joined the singer at the sell-out event.
Former X Factor contestant Cher Lloyd performed Want U Back with Taylor on stage.
