Taylor Swift has joined the list of stars headed to the People's Choice Awards.

The music superstar will join celebs including Sacha Baron Cohen, Sandra Bullock, Steve Carell, Carrie Underwood, Hugh Jackman and LL Cool J at the ceremony on January 6 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Queen Latifah will host the show in which fans vote for their favourite actors, musicians, movies and TV programmes.

Topping the nominees are vampire tales The Twilight Saga: New Moon and HBO's True Blood.

New Moon is up for favourite movie, franchise and on-screen team for its trio of stars: Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Kristen and Robert are also nominated for favourite movie actress and actor, and Taylor is up for breakout movie actor.

True Blood has nominations for favourite TV obsession and sci-fi/fantasy TV show, plus star Anna Paquin is nominated for TV drama actress.

Star Trek is another multiple nominee. It is up for favourite film, and its stars, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto, are nominated for breakout acting.
