Festival goers teamed wellington boots with sunglasses and skimpy outfits on Sunday, a day after the show in Essex was blasted by high winds and pouring rain.

The weather proved so bad on Saturday that headliner Justin Bieber's preceding act, Sia, was delayed on stage as the technical crew fought to make her stage set work around the wind.

The site in Weston Park in Shifnal, Shropshire also enjoyed some good weather on Sunday, with singer Foxes performing in sunglasses and Zara Larsson sporting short denim shorts.

The festival takes place across two sites over one weekend, with the line-ups swapping locations for the second day.

Rain is forecast for both areas throughout the evening.

Pop superstar Bieber was up first in Chelmsford, while Rihanna took on Staffordshire for the Saturday night show.

Bieber reportedly told fans he was "a little hung over" as he took to the stage and was said to have ordered 800 gallons of purified water for his performances this weekend.

Sorry singer Bieber, wearing a striped hoody, ran through tracks including Boyfriend, Baby, Love Yourself and Cold Water, but fans on Twitter complained that he appeared to be miming.

Umbrella singer Rihanna was later to the stage than her co-headliner and appeared in a long trench coat to guard against the cold weather as she belted out her hits.

Bieber will perform in Staffordshire on Sunday night, while Rihanna will move on to Essex.

In Essex, X Factor winners Little Mix delighted the crowd with a rendition of their hit Salute, which was accompanied by a vigorous dance routine.

In Shropshire, singer Sia's set went ahead as scheduled after her delayed performance in Essex on Saturday.

The enigmatic star took to the stage in a white dress with a huge white bow perched on top of her trademark black and white bob.

Later Bieber took to the stage and baffled fans by reading out the ingredients on a box of Pop Tarts.

His fellow headliner Rihanna debuted a new curly hairstyle on stage in Essex as she appeared in black thigh-high boots and an oversized jacket.
