Stone Roses ready for the second coming
THE stage is prepped and the boys are back in town.
Those eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newly reunited Stone Roses breathed a sign of relief last night as they rocked up to their hotel ahead of tonight's Phoenix Park gig.
All grievances were set aside as lead singer Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Gary 'Mani' Mounfield and drummer Alan 'Reni' Wren played to sellout crowds at three gigs in their hometown of Manchester over the weekend.
Fans will be hoping the 1990s British band relive their heyday with the songs such as 'I Am the Resurrection' and 'I Wanna Be Adored'.
Yesterday, Brown and Mani looked at ease as they strolled up to their hotel room, before Brown showed a bit of his rockstar exuberance when a few words were exchanged with a photographer who deigned to take his picture.
