Editors frontman Tom Smith and singer-songwriter Andy Burrows have revealed they are planning a second album following the success of their 2011 festive record.
The pair reached the top 10 with Christmas album Funny Looking Angels - but Andy said their next offering won't have a theme to it.
He told the Daily Star: "We were nervous before Funny Looking Angels because best mates working together can end up being a bit self-indulgent.
"But people liked what we did, and that's made us realise we should be able to do something just as good without any theme to it next time."
Tom added: "We wanted to do it last year but Andy had his own album to tour and I was too busy with live rehearsals for the Editors' new line-up."
He joked: "I used up all my supplies of Yuletide joy making the first record, so I couldn't do another Christmas album."
