Slash set to rock Download festival
Slash is set for a blistering headline slot at Download.
The guitar legend - formerly with Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver - will make his live debut as a solo artist at the rock festival.
Slash will showcase material from his new self-titled solo album as he takes to the main stage on June 13 alongside Aerosmith, Stone Temple Pilots, Motorhead and Billy Idol.
Thirty other acts have been announced to perform at Donington Park, including Breed 77, The Used, The Damned Things, Atreyu and Porcupine Tree.
Previously confirmed headliners include AC/DC and Rage Against The Machine.
Download runs from June 11 to 13, with tickets available now.
