Ronan Keating heads to Hollywood?
Ronan Keating has revealed his intention to pursue an acting career in Hollywood.
The Boyzone star is planning to pack his bags and head over to the States with wife Yvonne and three children after attending auditions for film roles, including the highly anticipated Lord Of The Rings prequel, The Hobbit, reported The Sun.
"We are going in July, Yvonne and the kids; we'll get the kids enrolled in school there - it may be for six months or we could even give it a year, we'll see what happens," he said.
"I've done a couple of castings... I've done an audition for The Hobbit. That starts shooting in New Zealand in July so we'd be based there for quite a while instead of LA if that happens," Ronan added.
The Dublin-based crooner, who hasn't made a secret of his acting ambitions, has previously said that he would find it difficult to appear as Boyzone without bandmate Stephen Gately, who died suddenly last October.
"Songs like No Matter What and Love Me For A Reason will never be the same again in a concert or a performance for me, so whether we continue to perform those songs, I don't know, I don't know if we can. It's really, really tough," he told Ireland Online.
