Rizzle Kicks: New album more mature

Rizzle Kicks said that their upcoming second album is a 'progression'

Rizzle Kicks have revealed they couldn't stop writing music after touring because they had so much adrenalin.

The pop-rap duo, who have shot to fame in the last two years, revealed they were buzzing so much after being on the road they immediately set about penning tracks for their upcoming second album.

Harley Alexander-Sule, who makes up Rizzle Kicks with Jordan Stephens, said: "We've written a lot of the new album. All we wanted to do after our first tour was write, write, write more, we had so much adrenalin. We've got 40 demos or something.

"It's cliched, but it's a progression and more mature. Slower in tempo, but still has a party vibe."

The follow up to last year's Stereo Typical is due out next year, but right now the pair are busy touring the UK.

Harley said: "It's going to be insane. I don't know what to expect. We're doing Brixton and the Roundhouse, two Brighton Centre shows, two in Manchester, a few in Scotland and so on, 27 dates in 30 days. Venues of 3,000 capacity upwards. How did we manage that? What was really interesting is that we've gone platinum with the album, but we do really well live."
