SHE may be one of the biggest stars in the world, but she proved she's not afraid to get her feet dirty.

Sexy singer Rihanna was filming her new single, 'We Found Love', with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris in a field in Co Down yesterday.

The Barbados-born beauty frolicked around in a cornfield in a bikini top before stunning onlookers by going topless for the video.

Although the video-shoot was supposed to be top-secret, rumours spread on the internet yesterday morning that the singer was filming near Bangor. Hundreds then gathered near Ballygilbert Presbyterian Church.

The singer is in the North ahead of her three sell-out shows at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast this weekend, and reportedly the site was chosen because someone on her team liked the look of a tree located there.

Dressed in pale-blue ripped jeans, a bikini-top and a long, check shirt, the singer waved to her fans from inside her car when she arrived.

One man, carrying his two-year-old daughter, ran after the truck to get closer.

Robert Gilmore and little Lexie were rewarded as the star enthusiastically waved out the window as she was driven down the road to her caravan.

Lexie's parents Robert and Lena had been waiting at the field from 11am. "It was worth it for her, it's made her day," Robert said.

Alex Arnson (16), from Bangor, said she was excited about seeing the superstar.

"I'm in the same airspace as Rihanna, that's pretty special," she said.

And as word got out that the singer was in town more people arrived.

Armed with cameras and camera phones, they lined the dual-carriageway waiting for the singer to emerge once more.
