Rihanna cancels her appearance on Graham Norton’s BBC show
CHART star Rihanna has cancelled a planned appearance on next week's Graham Norton Show.
The Barbadian singer was due to appear on the Friday June 15 edition of the BBC1 chat show, which is typically filmed a few days earlier, but her UK visit is believed to have been cancelled by her management.
But a spokeswoman for Sky Living insisted that had not affected the star's involvement in a new show to find a top fashion designer.
Rihanna is set to produce and appear in the unnamed show, the winner of which will create an outfit for her headline appearance at the Wireless Festival in London on June 24.
Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts, who has her own make-up range, will front the series where promising designers will be challenged over the course of 10 weeks to create outfits for musicians and celebrities.
A spokeswoman for the channel said the "series is still very much in successful production and is nearly complete".
Rihanna, who recently made her acting debut in Peter Berg's sci-fi action adventure Battleship, tweeted yesterday: "Keep your eyes on the finish line and not on the turmoil around you #thinkahead."
