Rich pickings for indie fans at Forbidden Fruit

They wouldn't be caught dead at a One Direction gig.

So while Niall Horan and pals kicked off the first of their massive shows in the O2 on Tuesday night, the grown-up indie kids gathered in the Market Bar on Fade Street for the launch of Forbidden Fruit 2013, which takes place in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on June 1/2 with headliners Kasabian, Primal Scream, James Blake (inset) and reggae legend Lee 'Scratch' Perry.

Among the guests in the Market Bar for the launch were the Irish music industry's most effective plugger, Pete Murphy of EMI, model Michele McGrath (right), restaurateur Jay Bourke, and DJs Colin Devine and Frank B, with band Fight Like Apes.
