Prof: I had to keep Lily's secret
Professor Green has admitted it was tough keeping Lily Allen's pregnancy a secret.
The rapper - who collaborated with the singer on Just Be Good To Green - knew Lily was expecting her first baby before she was ready to go public with the news, and she kept cancelling festival appearances over the summer, claiming she was unwell.
Professor Green revealed: "I knew from Glastonbury as well but I had to keep schtum, which wasn't always easy. Knowing she's with child and having people say 'Why does Lily keep letting you down?' 'Because she's not well...'"
The musician - who won Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the BT Digital Awards - is delighted for Lily, 25, who is expecting a son.
He said: "I think she's going to be amazing mum. I know how excited she is about it, and how much she wanted to have a kid, so I think she'll make an amazing mum."
But Prof Green doesn't think he'll be asked to be godfather.
He said: "Oh I don't want that responsibility. I'm hardly responsible for myself."
