Victoria Beckham has confirmed she sang as a Spice Girl for the last time in her 2012 Olympics performance.

The former Posh Spice reunited with her bandmates for the closing ceremony of the Olympics in London, but has told Vanity Fair Italy and Spain that it won't be happening again.

She said: "I won't ever do it again. Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it - proud to be British.

"That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you have got to know when it's time to leave the party."

The news will be a disappointment to fellow Spice Girl Mel B, who recently hinted she'd love to reunite with the group again to mark a major milestone this year.

She told MTV News in December: "It will be our 20-year anniversary next year so I'm hoping we do get together and do something. It kind of would be a shame if we didn't.

"There's so many highlights from being with the Spice Girls and touring. From meeting Nelson Mandela and hanging out with him at his home, being able to go to Japan and greeting all the Japanese fans, touring Europe, I mean there are so many different things.

"We've done quite a lot, thanks to all the support from Spice fans."
