Pharrell Williams has put his beloved Vivienne Westwood hat up for auction to raise money for his children's charity.
The Happy singer has rarely been seen without the super-sized fedora recently, wearing it for the Grammys, the Brit Awards and the National Basketball Association All-Star game, but is now selling it off for charity, according to the Daily Mail.
Pharrell is hoping to raise cash for his charity From One Hand To Another, which states its mission as "to help change the world one kid at a time by giving them the tools and resources to meet their unique potential and empower them to nurture curiosity by learning through new technologies, arts, media and motivation".
He tweeted the news that he would be parting with his hat, writing: "I'm auctioning off my hat from the Grammys to benefit From One Hand to AnOTHER #PharrellsHat @ebay," with a link to the item for sale.
In the listing, Pharrell has included a photo of himself wearing the hat and says that the buyer will be sent a letter of authenticity to prove that the hat is his.
He later tweeted: "Hey @Arbys, you want my hat? Now's your chance...," in reference to the US fast food chain which has a large red hat as its logo.
Bidding for the hat is currently at 10,500 dollars after starting at 200 dollars.
But the Get Lucky singer won't be without headwear for long - he also has a grey version of the 180 dollar Mountain Hat which he wore to BBC Radio 1's studios recently, and to the 86th Academy Awards nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills.
