Pearl Lowe's memoirs about her wild life are to be made into a movie.

The 39-year-old singer-turned-designer, who is married to rocker Danny Goffey, is to have her autobiography All That Glitters adapted for the big screen.

Pearl, who was a member of the Primrose Hill set, told The Daily Mail: "I've signed my life away - it's very exciting."

Scottish director John McKay is adapting the book which tells the story of Pearl's drug-taking in her teens and her wild life before settling down and becoming a mother.

Asked who she'd like to play her, Pearl, who is mother to model Daisy Lowe, revealed: "In an ideal world I'd have Daisy's friend Jaime Winstone."

She added: "She's a fabulous actress and I think she'd be perfect. Unfortunately, I don't think I will have any say in the casting."
