Paloma Faith has thanked JLS for keeping her signed to her record label.

The singer says that the boyband sell so many albums for label Epic Records, where Paloma is also on the books, that they stop her getting the chop.

Asked who she would be rooting for at the Brits, she told the Daily Star: "I'm supporting JLS because they keep me signed - they sell so many records that basically my record label is not angry."

The former burlesque dancer, 28, was snubbed by the Brits, failing to pick up a single nomination.

She said: "Because of JLS I can do what I want again and I've not got dropped. I have to sell 500,000 copies of my album to break even because of the money I owe my record company for making the album."
