Ora stranded on island with Snoop

Rita Ora says Snoop Dogg helped her on the desert island

Rita Ora has told how Snoop Dogg helped her after the pair became stranded on a desert island.

The Hot Right Now singer was shooting a video with the rapper in Thailand when the tide went out, leaving them stranded for hours, she revealed to The Sun.

Rita said: "The boat couldn't come to the shore and we couldn't get off the island.

"Everyone had left except me, Snoop, my sister, the camera guy and the lighting guy. I was like, 'Are we ever going to get off alive?'

"We had to walk all the way to the boat because the tide had gone out and the boat couldn't get to the shore.

"We had to wade through the sea to the boat. I don't know what was touching my toes! Slithery things, stones. I was holding Snoop's hand and he was squeezing it so tight I lost all circulation. It was hilarious."

Rita features on a song called Torn Apart which Snoop is releasing under his alter ego Snoop Lion.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old British singer played a homecoming gig at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire earlier this week.

She tweeted after the gig: "I'll never forget this day."
