Olly: I'd snog Cheryl at the Brits
Olly Murs has revealed he would like to continue the tradition of Brit Awards controversies by kissing Cheryl Cole on stage at the ceremony.
The former X Factor finalist is nominated for Best Single for his song Please Don't Let Me Go, in the same category as X Factor judge Cheryl.
Olly said his idea for a Brits stunt would be to: "Get up on stage and snog Cheryl. That would be amazing, wouldn't it?"
He added: "If she's performing. I don't know if she is.
"Every year there's always something outrageous. I'm not really that kind of character though. I'm a bit cheeky but I don't think I'd be able to get up and do something that outrageous.
"But if I get a few drinks down me, anything could happen."
On being nominated for a Brit, Olly said: "Just to be nominated is the best feeling in the world, it really is. It's been a great 18 months. Just to be a part of this amazing night and to see all the great artists that are here it's incredible, it really is."
Ellie Goulding, who has been propelled to stardom since she was awarded the Brits Critics' Choice award in 2010, was bowled over to be nominated for two awards this year.
She said: "It feels really amazing. I didn't expect to be up for one, let alone two, and I get to go to the Brits again and have lots of fun."
