Oasis album (What's The Story) Morning Glory has been named as a desert island disc by the Vatican's newspaper.

The Holy See published its picks for pop rock paradise, ranging from Michael Jackson's album Thriller to Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon and The Beatles' Revolver.

What the newspaper calls a semi-serious guide on the road to good music also includes Paul Simon's album Graceland and Supernatural by Carlos Santana.

The other picks are David Crosby's If I Could Only Remember My Name, Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, Donald Fagen's Nightfly, U2's Achtung Baby.
