Shingai Shoniwa would love to work with Mos Def and Outkast - partly because she finds them "sexy".
The Noisettes frontwoman said: "I'd love to collaborate with Mos Def and Outkast.
"I just think they're extremely talented, innovative and handsome young men who have made fantastic - and very sexy - contributions to pop music over the last five years."
She was recently in the studio with Ryan Tedder, from OneRepublic. "We did a session together. Watch this space to see where it'll go," she hinted.
Shingai - who hits the road on a UK tour from February 18 - would love to do more work with US artists to combine the two sounds together.
"I'm always up for the cultural exchange - I think if there's a great idea, collaborations should be made," she said. "It might seem like an unlikely pairing between RedOne and Lady Gaga, but it worked. You have to stop thinking what needs to work and what doesn't. People should just go for it and have fun and let two different worlds collide. That can make great stuff sometimes."
She added: "A lot of American producers and writers are really inspired by the British sound at the moment, so there's a healthy exchange going on between British artists with the Americans."
