A NEW song recorded by Britney Spears and black eyed peas front man Will.i.am receive its first ever play – on Mars.
The song ‘ Sexy Sexy’ will be played for the first time on the red planet via the speakers on the robot rover Curiosity.
Spears confirmed the collaboration on her Twitter page: "Can't wait for y'all to hear @iamwill's next single featuring me. Coming very soon. Stay tuned people...."
She added: "Just left the studio w/ @iamwill working #willpower. Look out 4 #reachforthestars beamed 2 earth from mars tmrw via my friend @MarsCuriosity.
‘The Voice UK’ judge will.i.am recently announced that a song from his new album 'Reach For The Stars' would premiere on the surface of Mars, after robot rover Curiosity successfully landed on the surface of the planet earlier in this month.
Spears has previously tweeted the Mars robot, asking if the planet looks the same as it did for her iconic music video 'Oops I Did It Again' back in 2000.
The bot even replied, saying: "Hey Brit Brit. Mars is still looking good. Maybe someday an astronaut will bring me a gift, too. Drill bits crossed ;)"
