Nelly and Kelly Rowland are set to reunite on the rapper's new album this summer.
Almost eight years on from the success of their hit Dilemma, Nelly revealed the pair have been back together in the recording studio.
"I've reconnected with Kelly Rowland again which was fun," Nelly said. "She's like my little sister."
The award-winning singer and rapper, who came out to meet his fans at Macy's Culver City in Los Angeles, added he'd also been collaborating with the likes of Jamie Foxx and Usher for his new album 5.O.
"I just finished something with [producer] Dr Luke, who is on fire right now when it comes to this game. I think his last 10 songs have been No 1. I've also connected again with Jamie Foxx and Usher," he said.
He went on: "Jamie is cool, he's just a cool dude. For somebody that's an Academy Award winner he's just the coolest dude on the planet, he's fun, he's outgoing, he gets it. He's just a fun guy to be around."
