N-Dubz have taken the first step in their bid for US glory.
The London hip-hop group - Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer - have signed a five-album record deal with Island Def Jam, and will be flying to Los Angeles in August to start recording with songwriters Dr Luke and Jim Jonsin.
Max Gousse from Island Def Jam told the Daily Mirror: "I signed N-Dubz because they're great entertainers and speak to London's youth unlike any other band - we want to bring their message to the rest of the world."
Fazer is thrilled with their Stateside signing.
"We are really excited to be signing with Def Jam. Getting a US deal is something we've been working towards for a while and we can't wait to get out to the States and have our music heard globally," he said.
"It's turning into a monster year for us."
