Nadine Coyle: No rush for reunion
Nadine Coyle said there's no "race against the clock" for a Girls Aloud reunion while they're all still young and doing their own thing.
The popular girl group have taken a hiatus to pursue solo projects, from judging the X Factor to starring in the latest St Trinian's film.
Speaking at the Xbox Kinect launch in Los Angeles, Nadine said: "We're all still young so we don't have that racing against the clock and I wanted to do a solo record and everyone wants to do their own thing, Sarah with the acting, or whatever they're doing. But when we're all back together, we'll see then.
"Everything's good, you know, we're taking a break and everyone's doing their own thing."
Nadine is currently in America writing and producing her first solo album and she is clearly enjoying the creative freedom writing her own songs has given her.
"It just sort of felt natural," she said. "Writing was something that came easily to me and there's so many great producers who just teach you so much."
She added: "I've been writing for over a year. I've stopped the writing process now, because you've got to stop at some point but it's so enjoyable I can't even believe it's a job. Now I'm getting all the producers and musicians that I've met over the years and it's all coming together."
Nadine said she was looking forward to trying out the new laser tracking motion sensor, Kinect for Xbox 360, and taking a few games consoles back to Northern Ireland - but not for herself.
She said: "I support the Northern Ireland's Children's Hospice and Xbox are awarding them consoles for the kids."
