The original Guns N' Roses was one of 2015's mega-reunion acts when the three main members of the group - Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan - finally buried the hatchet after years of acrimonious tension.

The band headlined Coachella Festival earlier this year and have just extended their North American tour and now rumours are rife that they could be heading to Irish shores next summer.

It's expected that they'll bring their Not In This Lifetime tour to Croke Park for the first Irish concert since 1993, although nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

Band manager Dale Skjerseth recently said of the tour: "I've been told there is no end date. I've seen penty of dates going into next year, far into next year.

"Everybody's working together to keep a common goal and common direction to keep the machine going."

Guns N' Roses' most famous release is the classic 1987 album Appetite for Destruction which featured the hit singles Sweet Child o’ Mine and Paradise City.

Slash said of their reunion: “There’s no animosity. Over time we all just got sick and tired of the black cloud.

“The biggest thing that happens when you have a break-up that is less than harmonious is you build up a bad energy because of the distance.

“The bad feelings get exaggerated," he said.
