'We're glad to be away from him' - X Factor group Stereo Kicks on Louis Walsh

Stereo Kicks, the eight-member band formed on X Factor last year, have revealed they're "glad to be away" from judge Louis Walsh.
Louis was the band's mentor on the show, but he controversially stated he felt one or two members should have been dropped as he felt eight was "too many".
Even though they failed to make the final, the lads bagged a deal with Sony Music following their stint on the show.
And singer Tom Mann has now thanked Louis for nothing.
Speaking to The Sun, he said, “We had a bumpy ride because everyone was like, ‘Are there too many, are there too many?’
“Obviously Louis didn’t exactly help the situation by suggesting that a couple of us should be kicked out of the band.
“I’d be lying if I said I wish we were still with Louis. If I’m honest then I’d say we’re glad to be away from him.”
However, Mann (21) tempered his remarks by adding, "Louis is lovely but I don't think he was right for us.
"Sometimes he does say the wrong things, so we’re happy to be doing our own thing now."
The band is now poised to release their debut single 'Love Me So' while Louis has stated he will not be returning to X Factor this year after 11 years on the panel.
