WATCH: The Edge falls off stage during opening night of U2 Innocence + Experience tour in Vancouver

The Edge had an unfortunate mishap during the opening night of U2's Innocence + Experience tour in Vancouver.

As Bono sang "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", The Edge strolled down the middle stage which traversed the Rogers Arena.

However, he clearly was not watching where he was going as he strolled right off the stage, falling several feet to the ground, guitar in hand.

The good news is he's fine - he took to Twitter via the official U2 account to let fans know he had survived the embarrassing incident.

Embarrassing incidents aside, the show was a resounding success, boasting stages at either end of the arena and a new sound and video system which ensures everyone can see and hear the band at their best.

The band will play another concert in Vancouver tonight - and will shake up the second half of the setlist - before hitting LA, Chicago, Boston, New York and more.

They will then move to Europe.  Irish dates have yet to be confirmed but are expected to take place around Christmas.
