A 22-year-old unsigned Irish singer is the woman providing the sultry tones in a duet with rapper Bxnjamin in the new Galaxy TV ad.
Chanele McGuinness (22) from Ballyshannon is seen melding her vocals with the rapper's in an up-tempo remix of Moon River which can also be streamed via Spotify.
Chanele, a full-time musician, says she was shocked when she heard she had been chosen for the campaign.
“I was called for an audition in London a few weeks back and I never knew anything would come of it," she says.
"I knew that Galaxy was auditioning a number of people for the role and were going to pick the one they thought worked best. It was totally surreal and utterly amazing to hear my voice in the ad and I have to pinch myself every time I see it on television."
The ad is for Galady Duet, which comes in two styles - Cookies & Cream and Caramel and Shortcake and Chanele had no problem popping consuming copious amounts over several takes!
"I love chocolate, when we were filming the advert I had to eat a piece of chocolate on camera," she reveals.
"I did about twenty takes of me popping the chocolate in my mouth but I wasn't complaining because the new Duet bar is absolutely gorgeous.”
The ad follows on from Galaxy's previous ad which hit screens in 2013 and used CGI to bring Audrey Hepburn back to life as the song Moon River from the 1961 hit Breakfast at Tiffany's played.
