Tickets for The Script's homecoming show at Dublin Castle sold out this morning within three minutes of going on sale.
The show, scheduled for September 13, takes place the day after the release of their fourth album, No Sound Without Silence.
Competition for tickets was fierce amongst fans as the show will be the band's first appearance in Ireland since March 2013 as they have been busy touring the US and writing and recording songs for their new album.
According to the promoters, there will not be a second date.
Danny, drummer Glen Power, and guitarist Mark Sheehan recently released a new video for their first single from the album, which has already garnered more than 1.8m views.
'Superheroes' was filmed in Johannesburg and follows an ordinary South African father as he leaves his home, dressed in a suit as he says goodbye to his daughter, and travels to a local dump where he changes clothes to forage for the day.
