Singer Nick Cave pays tribute to son (15) who died after cliff fall
Musician Nick Cave's son Arthur Cave has died after falling from a cliff in East Sussex.
Sussex Police have confirmed the death of Arthur Cave, who was 15.
Arthur, who has a twin brother named Earl, was found unconscious by passersby on Tuesday evening.
According to the coastguard, he had fallen from Ovingdean Gap, a 60 foot high cliff, onto the beach below.
Attempts from members of the public to resuscitate him were unsuccessful and he died that evening from his injuries in a nearby hospital.
His grief stricken parents Nick (of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and Susie paid tribute to Arthur.
"Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy.
"We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time."
His death is not being treated as suspicious by Sussex Police, who maintain that his death was a tragic accident.
