TV presenter Sile Seoige has led the charge in recording a Christmas single in aid of children's charities ISPCC Childline and the Make a Wish foundation.

Sile took to Twitter to express her gratitude to the Irish personalities who spared their evening to record 'Maybe this Christmas'.

They included Darren Holden, Brian Kennedy, actress Rachel Pilkington, signer and 2FM prestner Paddy McKenna, singer Brian Dunphy, Mrs Browns Boys' Paddy Houlihan, former rugby player Shane Byrne, RTE weather presenter Audrey McGrath, and many more.

The troup recorded the track at Windmill Lane recording studios in Dublin on Tuesday evening, and Sile tweeted this photo of the entire group, including crew.
