It has divided opinion, but whether you love it or hate it Sam Smith's Spectre theme tune is set to hit number one in the UK.
'The Writing's on the Wall' has so far this week sold double that of Justin Bieber's 'What Do You Mean'.
There have been 23 Bond theme tunes but none have ever made it to number one. The closest were Adele's Skyfall and Duran Duran's A View to a Kill which both landed the second spot in the charts.
The official chart will reveal whether or not he has made it on Friday October 2 although Smith, who co-wrote the song in 20 minutes, has been self-deprecating about his prospects.
"Who knows, but I don't think it will [get to number one] at all, but I'm not looking for that," he told Nick Grimshaw on BBC Radio 1 as the song was released.
He also said he didn't think it was a "number one friendly song".
In the Irish charts this week the only new entry to the top 40 is Ellie Goulding's On My Mind, the first track off her forthcoming album.
