Ryan Tubridy had quite the treat on Monday night as he hung out with Bono backstage following a stellar U2 gig at London's O2.
Tubridy may have ditched social media but he couldn't resist posting a selfie with the U2 frontman to the RTE Radio 1 Facebook page.
U2 are in the middle of the European leg of their Innocence + Experience tour and fans were treated to a surprise as Noel Gallagher joined the band on stage.
The former Oasis frontman appeared towards the end of the show to play acoustic guitar and provide backing vocals for 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' and a cover of The Beatles' 'All You Need Is Love.'
"I'd like to bring out of one my heroes, one of the band's heroes to help us out with this next song. Will you welcome to the stage the high flying bird himself Noel Gallagher," Bono announced.
Gallagher had been seated in the VIP area with Bob Geldof for the sold out arena show.
There was also plenty of fan interaction at the show with Bono inviting two brothers on stage to accompany the band on acoustic guitars for Angel of Harlem and bringing a female fan on stage for 'Mysterious Ways'.
He also swapped his jacket with one lucky fan who was brought on stage for 'City of Blinding Lights'.
