Sugababes fans rejoice – the original trio are reuniting for a comeback album.
Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy are set to return and release an album in 2017.
Donaghy confirmed the news during an interview with Wandsworth Radio, saying: “Sugababes have got a record coming out next year. I can’t tell you the exact date. I know, but I can’t tell you.”
The three singers released a single, Flatline, as MKS in 2012, but went off the scene as the track flopped.
Speaking about the band’s recent silence, Donaghy said: “We’ve been back and then there was a bit of a break. But we’re working on it again, it’s so exciting.”
Each artist left the band one by one between 2001 and 2009 and was replaced as they went.
The original band was formed in 1998, and it’s safe to say that the girls look very different nowadays.
