Kanye West may have won the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award but it was Taylor Swift's night as she bagged awards in four of the six categories in which she was nominated.

Not only did she win Best Female Video for Blank Space, but she also won Best Pop Video (again for Black Space), as well as Best Collaboration for Bad Blood with Kendrick Lamar, and finally the most coveted award of the evening - Video of the Year, again for Bad Blood.

Bray singer/songwriter Hozier had been nominated for Best Rock Video for Take Me to Church but was beaten by Fall Out Boy for their song Uma Thurman.

Nicki Minaj, meanwhile, who had been upset about not being included in the Video of the Year category for Anaconda won Best Hip-Hop Video for the release.  She also performed a duet with Taylor Swift, who had initially called her out on her comments but later apologised.
