Singer Lana Del Rey and dance act The Chemical Brothers will headline this year's festival as organisers announced the first 27 music acts who will perform from September 2-4.

Melvin Benn, managing director of promoters Festival Republic, said the festival site will have a larger capacity in a bid to build on last year's sell-out crowd.

Promoters have steadily increased capacity since 2013 when some 32,000 people attended.

"I'm going to go to an overall capacity of 55,000 this year - 3,000 or 4,000 more than last year," he said.

With family weekend camping tickets and Sunday day tickets already sold out, weekend camping tickets are on sale for €234.50.

LCD Soundsystem and 80s rock band New Order will also headline this year's festival, with Super Furry Animals, Haim and Irish singer Gavin James.
