RTE Concert Orchestra will also perform a special set at the charity event which will take place on Saturday, December 3 at Dublin's 3Arena.

The 2FM Xmas Ball will be hosted by all 2FM presenters including Nicky Byrne & Jenny Greene, Eoghan McDermott, Bernard O’Shea, Jennifer Zamparelli and Keith Walsh, Tracy Clifford and more.

Last year’s event raised over €430,000 for the ISPCC, the national child protection and welfare charity in Ireland. Everything it does is focused on keeping children safe, and giving them the support they need to thrive.

ISPCC Child and Family support and mentoring services work with 1500 families and children across Ireland, and its 24-hour national listening service Childine responded to 460,000 contacts from children last year.

More than 80 percent of funding comes from the generosity of the Irish public, individual and corporate donations and the charity relies on the commitment of 600 voluneteers.

Caroline Downey, President of The ISPCC and producer of the 2FM Xmas Ball, said: “We are thrilled that so many fantastically talented Irish artists are coming together for the second 2FM Xmas ball in aid of the ISPCC. We are indebted to RTÉ 2FM and the Irish Music Industry for supporting vulnerable Irish children through their support of the ISPCC and the Childline Service. Our motto is NEVER GIVE UP ON A CHILD. EVER."

All parties involved with the 2FM Xmas Ball are providing their services free of charge on the night including artists, organisers and 3Arena. The complete funding of the concert goes towards the financial support and aid of the 24 hour phone-line and the ISPCC services dedicated to helping children.
