Kanye West managed to sing six songs at a gig before police stopped the event when the rapper attempted to walk on water.

Or rather, he jumped into a lake, followed by hoardes of over-excited fans.

Kanye was playing a free gig in Yereven, Armenia, where he has been visiting with wife Kim Kardashian West as she has reconnected with her roots.

The Independent reports that Kanye shouted, “Over there, can y’all see me over there? We’re going to do something different right now, like, like, like we always do it this time!”

Kanye then jumped into the shallow Swan Lake during his performance of 'Good Life'.

Photographers also followed Kanye into the lake in an effort to get shots of the madness.

The gig lasted a mere 45 minutes before police were forced to call it off, presumably due to safety concerns.

Kim, of course, later tweeted about the stunt, thanking her husband for a "crazy night".

“Kanye jumped in Swan Lake to be closer to the crowd on the other side and so many people jumped in too!”
