The Irish farmer who told Rihanna to cover up while filming a music video in his field has said that he’d love to meet the global superstar again.
Councillor Alan Graham famously told Rihanna to cover up after she removed her bikini top while filming the video for We Found Love in his Co. Down field in 2011.
However, the 66-year-old admits that he’s probably not very high on her meet and greet list.
“I would love to meet the girl again for a chat but I suspect I am well down her people-to-meet list,” he told The Irish Daily Star.
“When Rihanna and I parted company she shook hands with me four or five times. She put her cheek up and I gave her a peck on the cheek. That is how we parted company.”
He says there are no bad feelings towards the Bajan singer, despite their exchange of words.
“It wasn’t a fight or a row. I just want not content with the state of undress, let’s put it that way.”
“To me, I found Rihanna very respectful and gracious and I simply told her I was a Christian and she had the highest respect for my point of view.”
Rihanna is set to perform in the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday as part of her Anti world tour.
