The Wire star Idris Elba will not perform a DJ set at this weekend's Forbidden Fruit festival.
Elba, who regularly DJs in Ibiza, was slated to play late on Friday May 29, the first night of the popular three day music festival at Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin.
He had been added to the line-up in February, along with Nicholas Jaar, Hot Since 82, Maya Jane Coles, and Adam Beyer.
However, the actor was forced to pull out and his name was removed from the most recent posters and press material for the festival, and from the festival's official website.

A fan tweeted to the official Festival twitter account on Tuesday asking if Elba would perform, to which festival organisers replied, "Unfortunately Idris Elba is unable to perform at FF this weekend, due to rescheduled filming commitments."
A spokesperson from Forbidden Fruit told independent.ie that "Idris Elba had rescheduled filming commitments which unfortunately clashed with Forbidden Fruit weekend."
"We made an announcement across social media channels and he has been removed from Ticketmaster listings and all site listings. We are really looking forward to an amazing weekend ahead, with some cutting edge music and comedy and can't wait to welcome you all to Forbidden Fruit."
Until this afternoon tickets were still available on Ticketmaster for Forbidden Fruit with Idris Elba even though he will not play.
The Friday night line-up now includes Fatboy Slim, Nicholas Jaar, Mark Knight, Disciples, Kowton, Lorenzo Senni, Tei Shi, and DJ Deece.
Wu Tang Clan and Richie Hawton will headline on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
