Former Westlife star Shane Filan has insisted he won't be following his bandmates into reality TV any time soon.
The solo singer (36) has watched Nicky Byrne compete on Strictly Come Dancing and Kian Egan crowned king of the jungle on I'm A Celebrity, but he isn't interested in swapping the recording studio for the small screen.
"I wouldn't do it. It's not something that I'd be interested in. I've been offered all those reality shows before and personally I'd like to sing instead," he told the Herald.
"Maybe if there was a golf reality show, something like that I'd be into.
"Kian in the jungle, he had wanted to do that for seven or eight years. I wouldn't even jump out of the plane."
The Me And The Moon singer (inset), whose second solo album Right Here topped the Irish charts last week, also said that as much as he would love to sing on X Factor, he doesn't think he's ready to yet.
"I'm not expecting it, to be honest, I think I'm a year or two shy of X Factor," he said.
Shane was speaking at the Cheerios Childline Breakfast Together launch in Fire restaurant on Dawson Street.
