Has China ripped off Frozen for the theme tune to Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics?

China has come under fire for the Beijing Winter Olympics theme tune which sounds suspiciously like the hit 'Let it Go' from Disney's Frozen.
Given Frozen is the biggest animated feature film of all time and 'Let it Go' is on a permanent loop in most parents' heads, it's hardly surprising a few people have noticed the similarities.
The New York Times reports that Chinese business magazine Caijing Online went to the trouble of analyzing the instrumentation and came to the conclusion that the songs had similar chords and an eight-beat introduction.
They also run at almost exactly the same tempo. And the similarities don't end there as the Beijing theme tune title translates to 'Ice Dancing'.
It was announced last Friday that China will host the Games in 2022 and since the theme tune was uploaded to YouTube it has garnered predominantly negative comments although some people fail to see the similarities.
