Forbidden Fruit Festival 2016 first acts announced including Underworld, Tame Impala and Flume

The first acts have been announced for Dublin festival Forbidden Fruit.

It's a whopper line-up with Tame Impala, Underworld, Flume, Groove Armada DJ, Jungle, Kiasmos Live, Tale of Us, Bondax, Tiga life, Ame Live, Maya Janes Coles, George Fitzgerlad, Jackmaster, Battles, Hnny, and DJ Deece just announces.

The music and arts festival takes place in the intimate surroundings of The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham on the June bank holiday weekend from Friday June 3 to Sunday June 5.

It's set across four stages (Original Stage, Undergrowth, Lighthouse, Someplace Else) offering different genres and the Bulmer's Lounge will return too.

There will also be official afterparties running at venues across the city until 3am and Forbidden Fruit Night can be bought as an upsell when you're buying your festival ticket, starting at 12.50 including booking fee.

Weekend tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 10th February from €99.50 inc booking fee, through Ticketmaster and usual outlets.
