Choice Music Prize winners The Gloaming add third National Concert Hall date due to phenomenal demand

Choice Music Prize winners The Gloaming are proving massively popular with the announcement of a third date at the National Concert Hall.

A third date has been added on March 1 2016 (following their first two shows on February 27 and 28) "due to phenomenal demand".

The shows will coincide with the release of the band's second album.  Their debut album released last year and it bagged the Choice Music Prize Album of the Year.

The Gloaming performed at the Barbican in London, Sydney Opera House in Australia, Mexico City's Teatro de al Ciudad, New York's Lincoln Center, and WOMAD festivals worldwide, and they also sold out multiple concerts at home from Dublin's National Concert Hall to the Cork Opera House.   

Their live shows climaxed with the historic Ceiliúradh concert at London's Royal Albert Hall, during which they performed for an audience including Irish President Michael D Higgins to commemorate the Republic of Ireland's first state visit to Britain.
