'Call me!' - Justin Timberlake wants to collaborate with Britney Spears
It’s something we’ve all been waiting for – Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears could finally be releasing a record together.
The pop stars dated for three years before splitting in 2002, breaking fans’ hearts worldwide.
Timberlake and Spears have kept their distance from each other over the years since the breakup, but we could soon be seeing them back together, if only for a collaboration.
Toxic singer Spears recently said in an interview with Most Requested Live that she’d like to work with her ex, as well as Aerosmith and Gwen Stefani.
"Aerosmith seems really good and bright," she said.
"He's a genius, I think. He's very rock n' roll. He sings from his soul... Gwen Stefani, I think she's great.... Justin Timberlake is very good."
When asked whether he’d be interested in working with Spears, Timberlake told E! News that he would “absolutely” collaborate with the star, before admitting that he hadn’t heard Spears’ interview.
“I have a 17-month-old so I don't get the headline news," he said, speaking of his son Silas with wife Jessica Biel.
"I apologise for not being in the know...I'm accessible, give us a call!
Here’s hoping it won’t be long before we hear a track from the pair. Maybe they’ll even wear matching denim outfits again?
