Rapper Tinchy Stryder insists he is more interested in Kanye West's "out of this world" music than his current feud with Taylor Swift.
The musician said West tops his list of dream collaborators because of the way he expresses himself.
West has recently been at the centre of a controversy about whether Swift "approved" lyrics about her in his song Famous.
Swift initially denied giving her consent to lines in the track that say he and the pop star might have sex and that he is the one who made her a global star.
West's wife Kim Kardashian has since posted videos on Snapchat of West on the phone to Swift that appear to show her saying the line about sex is "a compliment", although the line about her fame is not addressed.
Of the controversy, Stryder said: "You can't turn a blind eye to it but I've been listening to his music more than paying attention to that. Musically, he's out of this world."
He added; "I really like Kanye West a lot, his style and music is different, he's open minded. He does what he feels and with music you have to express yourself that way."
Stryder is backing Mayor of London Sadiq Khan's #LondonIsOpen campaign, which aims to show the capital is open to business, trade and creativity in the wake of the vote to leave the EU referendum.
He said: "There's an obvious reason why the world wouldn't think London is open, the mayor is pushing to let everyone know even after the referendum, it is.
He added: "I perform and tour around and see other things but London is so busy with so many different cultures and races, it definitely is different to a lot of different places."
