A striking physical resemblance isn't the only thing that singer Moya Brennan shares with her 22-year-old daughter Aisling Jarvis.
The only daughter of the Clannad frontwoman and husband Tim Jarvis is also an accomplished musician in her own right and has toured with her mother's band for the past three years.
Aisling (pictured with her mother) also worked as a sound engineer on the trad veteran's most recent album ahead of releasing her debut album as a singer/songwriter this autumn.
Her self-produced record, "A Handful of Bad ideas", features a myriad of instruments – including uileann pipes, bouzouki and keyboard – as well as acoustic guitar – on the 11 tracks, which she describes as a combination of pop, punk and alternative-indie.
Her album will be released on September 1.
