Buble has sold millions of albums, but as he readies the release of his newest project, hes less concerned with his future album sales, thanks to his wifes pregnancy. I'm nervous and excited, and truly I think it's given me great perspective, the singer said at the music video shoot for his new single, It's a Beautiful Day. (Photo by Jon Furniss/Invision/AP, File)

Michael Buble has revealed his wife is having a boy, but vowed not to call him Frank.

The 37-year-old singer and Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato, 25, are expecting their first child together, due in August.

Michael told The New York Post: "We are so excited. We have just come from the hospital, and the sonogram was pretty clear, it's a boy! We are thrilled."

He added: "But there's no way we are going to call him Frank, even if it did work well for Frank Sinatra."

The Canadian crooner has sold millions of albums, and his new record To Be Loved is released in April. But Michael admitted he's less concerned with his future sales these days, thanks to impending fatherhood.

"I used to worry about how the single would do and how the record would sell. And the truth is, I love this record. I'm so proud of it. But, at the end of the day, if it sells 10 million or 10 copies, I've got bigger fish to fry," he insisted. "I've got a wife and a kid I love very much."

Michael married Luisana in 2011. He previously dated British actress Emily Blunt for three years until 2008.

His new single It's A Beautiful Day is about a man who is happy because his failing romantic relationship has finally ended.

Asked who inspired the song, Michael quipped: "Harry Styles. He left me for Taylor [Swift]. I'll be writing about her, too, soon."
