Chris Martin has showcased a new song - Wedding Bells - while making a surprise appearance in the US.
The Coldplay frontman performed the track at an Apple convention in San Francisco, where the company's new products were unveiled, reported NME.com.
As he introduced the song, Chris joked: "This is a new song called Coldplay 2.6 and it has a lot of new features, it features seven different kinds of chords and even a new one that our closest rivals have no idea about."
He added: "This could be the only time you ever hear it. It could go terribly wrong but we'll see what happens."
Earlier, Chris played hit numbers Yellow and Viva La Vida, the success of which he credited to Apple.
"Our record company said this (Viva La Vida) is not a hit single. But with the weight of Apple, they managed to turn it into a very successful single. So thank you," he said.
The event took place at the Yerba Buena Centre in the US, but was screened live on TV screens at The Brewery in east London.
